We do not advise shipping 2nd day air during the hot summer months. No matter how close you may live, transport time is still 48 hrs in 95 degree heat. There is no chance for bacteria to form because the meat is vacuum packed,however no gel packs or Styrofoam will prevent melted packages at extremely high temperatures. 2nd day air works well in spring, fall and winter. |
